Mental Health First Aid
Over the last 18+ months, we have had to endure uncertainty whilst withstanding unparelled changes. With no end in sight that life will return to normal anytime soon, people’s mental health is really suffering.
Why should I do this course?
We have all had to confront different challenges, be they financial, health related or being isolated from friends and loved ones. So what are the signs that someone isn’t coping and do you know how to have the conversation with your colleagues or team members? It is now more essential than ever that line managers have the skills to spot mental health issues and a tool kit to deal with situations that arise.
What is the course format?
This is an online program, delivered in two parts:
- Part 1: You will complete a self-directed e-learning component
- Part 2: You will attend 2 x 3 hour facilitated webinars on ZOOM
At the conclusion of the program you can complete an optional short assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider and receive a certificate. Accreditation lasts for three years.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who is a leader or manager of people, whether they be in stores or support office. Alternatively, you could already be a first aider, who wishes to add MHFA to their skill-set.
