We build capability for retail buying and merchandise planning teams

Why work with us?

Founded in 2012, Numensa Academy delivers practical online training designed to develop commercial buying and planning skills for today’s retail industry. With real-world industry expertise and flexible online learning, our courses help professionals build the confidence, knowledge, and commercial mindset they need to succeed.

Over the past 14 years, we have worked with some of Australia’s leading retail brands across a diverse range of categories, including fashion, home, general merchandise, sports and DIY. This broad industry experience has given us a deep understanding of the skills buyers and planners need at every stage of their career, and how to deliver training that is practical, relevant and easy to apply in the workplace.

That’s why we have carefully curated our course bundles to align with different buying and planning career pathways, from entry-level through to junior and developing roles. Each bundle combines the most relevant training for your job level, helping you build skills with confidence, clarity and a structured learning journey. Plus, purchasing a bundle offers greater value compared to buying courses individually.

Individual courses are available across three different learning areas:  Fashion & Home, Buying & Planning, and Soft Skills
