This month we finally take a moment to reflect on the last financial year. We would also like to welcome the newest member of the Numensa Team, who will be joining us in just a few weeks.
With results season amongst us, there is no better time for some lively graphs. We have compiled the following infographic with hopes of summarising and contrasting the results of various companies, including SRG, PAS group and Wesfarmers, to name a few.

The most shocking of all (or maybe not so shocking for those modern minds) are the results published from department stores such as Myer and David Jones, who have both tragically halved their profits from the last financial year.

The take home message here is inevitably that we really must ‘get with the times’ in order to have continued success. With technology having such a vast impact on society, it is no surprise that the retail culture is also changing.

Moving from London to Australia in 2012, Jade couldn’t help but notice the vast difference between Retail Planning strategies. It was here that she fully grasped the importance of proper training and how it can impact on the success of a business.
